Challenge:
In May 2009, national frozen pizza brand Tony’s Pizza looked for a national promotion to re-ignite sales following a down period for the brand. Their target was the Mom/Family audience, hoping to reach them through an activity they love.

Solution:
Amplify helped Tony’s Pizza create an on-pack, free game of bowling offer as part of a Strike Ten Entertainment partnership. The coupon was redeemable at 3,400 bowling centers nationwide.

Results:
Tony’s Pizza generated its highest 12-week sales period ever in the months following the launch, as well as its highest sales month ever out in their largest retailer. The brand renewed the program for 2010, while expanding the STE partnership with new branding and promotion extensions.
